A CAMPAIGN to help stop Oxfordshire’s elderly feeling lonely has been launched by Oxfordshire Community Foundation.
The Surviving Winter campaign for 2013 aims to raise money to fund community groups for outreach programmes to alleviate isolation in older people.
From this month, £10 any donation will be matched until a national pot of funds has been used up.
To make a donation, go to oxfordshire.org and click on the donate button at the top.
You will then be able to register as a Localgiving.com supporter and make your donation.
To make a cheque donation. make your cheque payable to Oxfordshire Community Foundation and send to the foundation’s offices, 3 Woodin’s Way, Oxford, OX1 1HD.
