THERE are severe delays stretching several miles on the A34 after three collisions caused tailbacks into Berkshire.
The first incident was a three-car collision on the Southbound carriageway at the Milton Interchange.
Three people were taken to the John Radcliffe hospital.
Two subsequent collisions were also reported on the Northbound carriageway at about 12.33pm.
One was in the same location as the Southbound collision and is believed to be linked, and another happened closer to Abingdon.
Both involved two cars and a van and led to minor injuries.
The Northbound carriageway was completely closed for a short period of time, and one lane remained closed after that, causing tailbacks as far as Beedon in Berkshire.
The extent of injuries sustained in the Southbound collision is currently unknown.
