Sir – In his review of The Narrows, in Abingdon (Weekend, October 17), Christopher Gray refers to a “ham and cheese panini”, as regularly consumed by himself at Heathrow Airport.
I think he will find that one consumes one panino, and if very hungry two panini. Worse solecisms abound, of course; it is not unusual to see paninis, or even panini’s, advertised at some establishments!
