A WOMAN was yesterday charged with murdering two children in a house fire in East Oxford 16 years ago.
Anum Khan, eight, and her 15-year-old brother Majid died in the blaze at their home in Magdalen Road, East Oxford, in August 1997.
Five men were convicted of murder the following year but on Tuesday detectives arrested Fiaz Munshi, 38, in Oldham.
She was charged yesterday with two counts of murder and will appear at Oxford Magistrates Court this morning.
Petrol was squirted through the letterbox of the family's home in Magdalen Road shortly after 3am on Tuesday, August 26, 1997.
