A teenager was taken to hospital after being struck by a car in Oxford Road, near Gosford Hill School, yesterday lunchtime.
The 19-year-old was treated at the scene before being taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. The accident, involving a Volkswagen Golf, happened at about 12.30pm and the road was closed until 2.20pm.
