Prosecutors will today try to recover money from a bank manager who swindled £90,000 from a pensioner.
Christopher Walsh, of Banbury Road, Kidlington, took the money from 79-year-old Eric Dann during a four-year long fraud.
He befriended Mr Dann while working at an Oxford branch of Barclays and later became his financial adviser, managing his bank accounts and his tax returns.
In June this year the 48-year-old was jailed at Oxford Crown Court for three-and-a-half years after he admitted theft and five counts of fraud by abuse of position.
A Proceeds of Crime Act hearing will be held at the court today to determine how much of the money can be recovered.
