TRAIN passengers travelling between Oxford and Didcot were delayed yesterday because of a signalling problem caused by a small electrical fire.
Network Rail spokesman Chris Denham said equipment by the line near Didcot was seen smoking at about 2pm and repairs were made by 4.10pm.
He said: “We are investigating what caused the problem.”
