RAIL operator Chiltern Railways has been named top for train punctuality for the 11th period running, according to Network Rail.
Figures showed 87.9 per cent of Chiltern’s trains were on time, or within a minute of its scheduled time, compared with a national average of 67.3 per cent.
The firm run trains between London Marylebone and Birmingham, via Bicester North and Banbury stations.
Andrew Munden, operations and safety director at Chiltern Railways, said: “Punctuality is a key priority for us and we will continue to look at ways to provide the best service possible for our customers.”
