A PLAN to import waste into Wroxton Fields Quarry, near Banbury, was rejected by councillors yesterday.
Applicant Peter Bennie Ltd proposed to use biosolids – treated sewage sludge – to be used as part of the site restoration.
The planning application was rejected by Oxfordshire County Council’s planning and regulation committee at County Hall.
