OXFORDSHIRE County Council held its latest “cuts roadshow” meeting in Wantage last night.

Council leader Ian Hudspeth and chief executive Joanna Simons visited the Civic Hall, where they asked for feedback on how best to make £61m of public service cuts before 2018.

Central government will cut its grant to the council by 10 per cent.

Last Tuesday members of the public packed County Hall for the Oxford meeting.

Similar meetings will be held at the Cornerstone Arts Centre, Didcot, tomorrow at 7.30pm and at Henry Box School, in Witney, on Thursday at 7.30pm.
