ABOUT 90 pupils have had their artworks displayed in an exhibition.
Springfield Special School in Witney showed off its students’ creativity at a show in Witney Methodist Church on Saturday.
Edward Shryane, eight, from Witney, contributed his handprint in clay to the collection.
His dad James Shryane said: “He really enjoys doing art and it is a great school.”
Edward has Prader-Willi syndrome, a rare genetic condition which means that he feels hungry all the time, but has weak muscle growth.
He also has learning difficulties and curvature of the spine. He can walk, but gets tired quickly and so uses a wheelchair to get around.
His family moved to Witney so that he could go to Springfield school.
The school shares buildings with the mainstream primary Madley Brook, where Edward’s little sister Martha, six, attends.
