EACH time we cover more land in concrete, Mother Nature cries. As our towns become the size of cities and our numbers increase, Mother Nature becomes more afraid, she becomes sick and coughs, black tar gets stuck in her throat.
Our green and pleasant land shrinks in size, open spaces, wild places seem to disappear in front of our eyes. Over-population and human greed are the main reasons.
We must stand back, evaluate, learn to appreciate and protect the natural world, before it’s too late. Mother Nature will fight back and take back what is hers.
We need to be strong and realise that our numbers are just too great, we are the problem and the cause. The solution lies in our hands. Large families should become a thing of the past. All life forms are precious and play a part, the huge diversity of our planet is what makes it so beautiful.
