TRAIN passengers are facing delays this afternoon between Oxford and Didcot due to a signalling problem.
Network Rail said the problems were caused by a small fire at the side of one of the lines north of Didcot.
Spokesman Chris Denham said equipment by the line was seen smoking at about 2pm and repairs were made by 4.10pm.
He said: “There will be knock on delays so do check before you travel. We are investigating what caused the problem.”
