SOMEONE was receiving this radio at a ceremony at Nuffield Press at Cowley.
The man second from the left is Bill Jones, who worked for the company and played football for Headington United before the club became Oxford United, and the man second from the right is Charlie Skinner.
But we don’t know the names of any of the others, or why the presentation was taking place. Can anyone help?
The picture comes from a large collection belonging to Alfred John Blake, a retired director, who lives at Appleton.
Nuffield Press was founded in 1925 by William Morris, later Lord Nuffield, to produce publicity material for his Cowley-built cars.
