Witney's Open Space and Footpaths Working Group wants to find whether people think that a public right of way has always existed across the recreation ground off New Road.
The group has drawn up a questionnaire about the use of the recreation ground and whether there have been signposts, gates or stiles at any time.
The questionnaire can be downloaded from the town council’s website at woodstock-tc.gov.uk/environment.html Completed forms can be returned to the council office at the town hall or by email to info@woodstock-tc.gov.uk
