A 19-year-old man has been arrested after police chased a car through Witney.
Police started following the grey Volkswagen Polo when it was spotted driving erratically on the A40 on Thursday shortly before 5.45pm. The vehicle was abandoned in Dark Lane. Police found a baseball bat and metal pole in the car.
The suspect, from Witney, was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place. He has been released on bail until November 16.
