One part of the city will soon be swinging to the sounds of New Orleans.
The George pub in Littlemore is hosting its monthly “jazz jam” on Friday.
A host of musicians will descend on the Sandford Road pub at 8.30pm.
Singer and organiser Sheila Salway, who lives in Magdalen Road, East Oxford, said: “It is a friendly pub and everyone is welcome. There is quite a good mix of music and people can dress up if they want.”
