THIS smiling group of women helped Charlbury Primary School to run smoothly.
They appear to be a mixture of teachers and dinner ladies, possibly in the late 1960s.
The picture belonged to the late Marjorie Currie and was sent in by former pupil Terry Pratley, of School Road, Finstock.
Mr Pratley, who was at the school from 1958 to 1965, writes: “I believe most of the women were dinner ladies, but the picture also includes my former teacher, Mrs Bunting. Alongside her is probably Mrs Willoughby, another teacher.
“Can any of your readers help with identification?”
The school, in Pooles Lane, opened in 1815, closed in 1987 and was demolished in 1997.
