A woman found dead in a lay-by has been named as Suzanne Cammell.
The 71-year-old, of The Stables, in Lechlade, was found near the entrance to Burford Golf Club by a motorist at about 7am on Thursday, October 3.
The woman had abandoned her silver Jaguar car at the golf club.
A post-mortem examination revealed she died from a trauma to the head.
Police are not treating her death as suspicious.
An inquest into her death was opened and adjourned at Oxfordshire’s Coroner Court on Monday.
