I WAS one of the many runners in the Oxford Half Marathon on Sunday.
In filthy conditions, we were grateful to those who braved the elements to cheer us on. In the pouring rain it is much easier running than spectating and, although the overall spectator numbers were surely held back by the weather, the enthusiastic support was all the more appreciated in the circumstances.
