THE National Grid has said there is a high risk of power cuts this winter. In that case, why was the coal-fired power station, among others, allowed to close in Oxfordshire?
The utter rubbish about EU regulations causing this to happen belies the fact that coal-fired powered stations are being built in Europe with haste.
It seems that the coalition Government is determined to keep us in the dark – literally. Perhaps this strengthens the case for nationalisation of the utilities.
