A PHOTO montage of nearly 416 people created as a snapshot of the town’s history has been handed to Witney Museum.
The Faces of Witney project by photographer David Willoughby has been on display at the SOTA Gallery, in Langdale Gate, since September 16.
Now it will be displayed at the Witney and District Museum, in Gloucester Court Mews, High Street, for future generations to look at.
Jennifer Crowshaw, who runs the SOTA gallery, said: “We had hundreds of people come through the doors to look at the piece.
“And now at the museum it will be kept for future generations to look at and see what the people of Witney looked like in 2013.
“It is in the entrance hall, so it will be seen by everyone who comes through.
“It shows a slice of time in Witney’s history.”
