PUPILS from Wood Farm Primary School took to the studio on Friday to record their own song.
The track Stand Tall was written by teacher Anna Phillips and was recorded alongside pupils from a South African school.
The Titup Hall Drive school has been partnered with Adelaide Primary School in Africa since 2011 and they have shared letters and emails on what life is like where they live.
The song, recorded at Soundworks studio, Blackbird Leys, will also be recorded in South Africa before the tracks are mixed together.
Teacher Hannah Barton said: “We were lucky to be partnered with a school with whom we had a common vision about the link’s potential for engaging children, celebrating the sense of multiculturalism and learning from each other.
“It has gone from strength to strength in the last couple of years due to the enthusiasm of everyone involved – especially the children.”
