A man is due to be sentenced today at Oxford Magistrates' Court for pouring lighter fluid on his girlfriend.
Odin Perryman, 36, assaulted his girlfriend at her home in Havers Avenue, Milton, and she told police she feared she was to be set alight.
Last month Perryman admitted assault by beating, two counts of criminal damage, and further admitted the commission of an offence while subject to a conditional discharge.
Perryman was granted conditional bail.
