I COMPLETELY agree with Mr Smith’s letter (October 7). My parents, who are now in their 80s, find it very hazardous walking to the shops in north Oxford during the autumn months.
This is due in part to fallen leaves blocking drains and remaining on pavements as a slippery slush.
Come on, Oxford City Council, get your priorities right and look after those that have paid their national and local taxes all of their lives.
