James Cooper, 29, of West Street, Banbury, admitted stealing a bottle of wine worth £5.49 from Tesco Express, Middleton Road, Banbury on August 27. Also admitted breaching a community order made on August 7 for stealing alcohol worth £21 from a Co-op in Middleton Road, Banbury on June 5. Community order made with eight-day activity requirement and 12-month supervision requirement.

Keeley Freegard, 42, of Edmunds Road, Banbury, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour within the sight of someone likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress in Banbury on August 24. Fined £35 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Andrew Loftus, 43, of Middleton Road, Banbury, admitted assault by beating in McKeevor Place, Banbury on August 23, and possessing cocaine, a class A drug, in Banbury Police Station on August 24. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and fined £35. Told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £35 costs.

Stephen Lewis, 59, of North Drive, Grove, near Wantage, admitted stealing £442.80 from a meter or automatic machine in Wantage between March 26 and July 17. Given an 18-week prison sentence.

Olivia Ross, 24, of Webbs Close, Wolvercote, Oxford, admitted wilfully obstructing free passage along a highway in Sunderland Avenue, Oxford on August 8. Also admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour in Cornmarket Street, Oxford on August 14, and using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in St Aldate’s, Oxford on August 22. Fined £105 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Ernest Murawski, 27, of Albert Street, Banbury, admitted causing criminal damage to the glazed shop front door of Katherine House charity shop worth £420 on February 1. Community order made with 60 hours of unpaid work and told to pay £420 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Sean Groves, of Kenelm Court, Cleveley, Enstone, admitted driving an unlicensed vehicle in High Street, Witney on February 18. Fined £260, told to pay £90 costs and a £71.67 vehicle excise back duty.

Philip Edwards, 62, of Japonica Close, Bicester, admitted drink-driving in Lucerne Avenue, Bicester on August 18. Had 95 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £250, a £25 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for two years.

Michael Elder, 47, of King’s End, Bicester, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Steeple Aston on February 20. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Khoyer Syed, 26, of Circus Street, Oxford, admitted making a threat to kill at Cowley Police Station in Oxford Road, Oxford on September 9. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and restraining order made. Told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Darryl Towle, 20, of Kemps Road, Twyford, Banbury, admitted possession of cannabis in Banbury on August 11. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Eric Austin, 43, of Albion Place, Oxford, admitted making off without paying for £49.28 worth of food and alcohol at Shanghai 30s in St Aldate’s, Oxford on September 2. Community order made with a supervision requirement. Also told to pay £49.28 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Vicky Gudgeon, 25, of Evans Road, Eynsham, admitted stealing a number plate in Witney between August 8 and 9. Also admitted making off without paying for fuel worth £70 in Witney on August 9. Admitted stealing a number plate worth £15 in Witney on August 15 and making off without paying for fuel worth £70 in Long Hanborough on August 15. Community order made with a six-week curfew requirement. Told to pay £163 total compensation and a £60 victims’ surcharge.

Depu Mohammed, 25, of Henry Box Close, Witney, admitted causing £589.04 worth of damage to a window of the Raj restaurant in Witney on November 18. Community order made with a six-week curfew requirement. Told to pay £589.04 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

David Cobb, 23, of Dark Lane, Witney, admitted possession of cannabis in Witney on August 8. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.

Kleanthis Kleanthous, 54, of Islip Road, Oxford, admitted driving on a restricted road, namely Banbury Road, faster than 30mph on November 11. Fined £60 and told to pay costs of £80 and a victims’ surcharge of £20. Licence endorsed with three points.

Nathan Meadows, 18, of The Avenue, Bloxham, near Banbury, admitted assaulting PC George Dean in the execution of his duty in Bloxham on May 26. Given a community order requiring defendant not to consume alcohol on licensed premises in Carterton and Witney for 148 days. Ordered to pay £100 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Richard Jakeman, 40 of Marlborough Road, Banbury, admitted stealing seven garden plant pots and plants worth £175 from Homebase in Banbury on July 11. Given a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £87 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £100 costs.
