A WOMAN who crashed her car into a Co-op store near Witney escaped with minor injuries.

The 53-year-old drove the car into the food shop in Main Road, Long Hanborough, shortly after 4pm on Saturday.

She was treated at the scene for minor injuries by paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service.

Nobody else was hurt in the crash.

SCAS spokesman James Keating-Wilkes said Thames Valley Police alerted them to the incident at 4.16pm.

No-one from the Co-op was available to comment. The front of the store was badly damaged in the incident.
