JACK Room, of Burford Road, Witney, knew lots about gardening.
But even he could not claim it was horticultural skills which produced this outsized and odd-shaped potato in his garden in 1965.
He called it the Flying Pig – the main part had a hint of a porker’s features, with the smaller offshoots forming the wings.
It weighed 3lb 5oz – enough for one meal for a small family.
