IT MAY be a while before Cristiano Ronaldo graces the Kassam Stadium turf again but this summer Oxfordshire youngsters were given the opportunity to get the Real experience.
The Real Madrid Foundation brought its youth coaching camps to the UK for the first time when it came to Oxford last week.
Jaime Palomino Cano, Real Madrid Foundation co-ordinator, said: “Our course this year has been a fantastic success. Lady Margaret Hall and the children of Oxford have helped to launch one of the most exciting new projects for the Real Madrid Foundation.
“We look forward to our course next year and to see our students return.”
The children developed their football skills and also learnt important life values through creative activities such as leadership tasks, chefs’ school and yoga.
