FARMS across the country threw open their doors at the weekend for Open Farms Sunday.
Among the local farms taking part was Southdown Farm, in Crawley Road, Witney.
The small fam, which specialises in producing goat’s cheese, also has pigs, turkeys, geese and guinea fowl on site.
Lucy Ashbourne and sons Blake, seven, and Ben, 11, went down to enjoy the fun.
Mrs Ashbourne, from Witney, said: “They were having lots of fun watching a guy doing whittling of a bow and arrow, paddling ducklings and all the goats running around.
“It was a really lovely day and there seemed to be quite a lot of people around.”
Mrs Ashbourne said she bought some hard air-dryed goats cheese which she had never seen before.
