A teenage cyclist hurt in a collision with a car in Abingdon is in critical condition. The teenage boy suffered head injuries in the accident on Wednesday in Ock Street at 8.30am which involved a silver Mercedes.
Also on Wednesday, at about 8.20am, a cyclist and a pedestrian were involved in a collision outside the Royal Oxford Hotel. The 50-year-old woman cyclist was treated at the scene and the female pedestrian, in her 30s, was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital for treatment.
Yesterday she was in a serious but stable condition.
