MOHAMMED Hussain looked up at the ceiling in relief as he was cleared of child sex charges.
The 25-year-old last night walked free after being found not guilty of three charges of sexual activity with a child.
Girl 5 had claimed he had sex with her aged 14 in 2011. But he denied he knew she was underage.
Lucy Tapper, junior defence barrister for Mr Hussain, told the Oxford Mail she was “delighted” her client was cleared.
Miss Tapper said: “We took the view that his case fell into a different category.
“I hope that what came across was that there was a genuine relationship, albeit a light-hearted one.
“The jury understood that and clearly took the view that he reasonably believed she was 17.”
She added: “He wants to get on with his life and leave this behind him and look forward.”
