FOUR pupils were taken to Florio Bar and Kitchen in Banbury Road, Oxford, on Tuesday to try their hand at cooking.
The 12-year-olds from Oxford High School learned how to poach eggs and saw the science of cooking in action.
Imogen Albert, second left, pictured with, from left, Phoebe Tensa, Mila Perera and Alice Soboleva, said she had a great day. She said: “Who would have thought chefs use acid?”
Teacher Maria Whittington said: “The girls had an amazing time.”
