A man has been arrested for throwing a glass at a woman inside a packed Oxford nightclub.
The victim suffered a large gash to her face and was treated with stitches at Oxford’s John Radcliffe hospital before being discharged.
Police say Roppongi Bar in George Street was extremely busy when the incident occurred at 2.35am on Saturday, April 27. Thames Valley Police only put details out about the incident today.
Three women were dancing when a man got into an argument with one of the women in the group. The offender then threw a glass at them, hitting the victim in the face.
A 26-year-old man was arrested and released on bail. The offender was described as a black man, with short hair, and approximately 6 ft 1ins.
He was wearing a grey hooded zip up top, blue jeans and black trainers. Eyewitnesses are asked to call 101 with information.
