The A40 has re-opened after an earlier crash.
Recovery work has ended and queues of traffic are easing.
A two-car collision closed the road between the A429 Northleach and A361 High Street Burford at about 9.30am.
Police and ambulance crews were in attendance.
No major injuries were reported.
