STYLE queen Rita Ora posed for pictures as fans, photographers and fashion designers swarmed around her at Bicester Village yesterday.

The Hot Right Now singer was in town to support up and coming fashion designers at the village.

She launched the British Designers’ Collective at the Designer Outlet centre.

She said: “I love Bicester Village. My parents used to bring me here when I was younger, and now I’m back as an ambassador for British fashion.”

For the past four years the outlet centre, in Pingle Drive, has teamed up with the British Fashion Council to allow young British talent to show off and sell collections at a dedicated pop-up boutique.

In previous years fashionista Alexa Chung and actress Thandie Newton have supported the initiative.

Desirée Bollier, chief executive of Value Retail Management Ltd, owners of Bicester Village, said: “In our enduring commitment to supporting the rising stars of British fashion we are delighted to launch the fourth annual British Designers’ Collective at Bicester Village.

"The British Designers’ Collective offers an exciting opportunity to discover some of the most sought-after young designers in a single space for what is a truly unique shopping experience.”

Caroline Rush, chief executive of the British Fashion Council, said: “It’s a unique and unrivalled shopping experience that allows visitors to discover new designers at a fraction of the price.”
