People convicted of offences at Oxford Magistrates' Court recently:

  • Terry Wakeling, 33, of Upper Barr, Cowley, Oxford, admitted stealing clothing worth £343.91 from TK Maxx and going equipped for theft in Templars Square, Oxford, on February 8. Also admitted causing criminal damage to a vehicle in Hockmore Street, Oxford, on February 12. Given eight-week suspended prison sentence, with 12-month supervision and six-month drug rehabilitation requirement, £100 compensation and £80 victims’ surcharge.
  • Jamila Adams, 37, of Havelock Road, Oxford, admitted stealing cosmetics and beauty products worth £125.81 from Boots in High Street, Witney, on March 18. Also committed a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge for theft. Community order with six-month drug rehabilitation requirement and nine-month supervision, £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
