Oxford city centre was set to be inundated with thousands of May Morning revellers today.
The traditional celebrations to greet the beginning of Spring include Morris dancing and the choristers of Magdalen College choir singing the Hymnus Eucharisticus from the college’s Great Tower Magdalen Bridge opened to pedestrians for the celebration, which started at 6am.
