House prices fell by 0.8 per cent last month, latest official statistics have revealed.
Data from the Government’s Land Registry shows the average price of a property in the county now stands at £242,035, compared to £243,985 in February.
Prices are now at their lowest since last July, although they have increased by 1.7 per cent since March last year when they stood at £237,882.
Nationally, the average price of a home in March was £161,793, a rise of 0.1 per cent on February.
