CARE home resident Ron Cox enjoys a visit from Willow the tawny owl.
Other residents from Iffley Sanctuary Care Home in Oxford also got the opportunity to hold birds during a visit by Alan Charlett of Al’s Owls.
Mr Cox, 86, said: “It was interesting, most entertaining – it was lovely to see the owls close up and touch them.
“I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.”
Residents also enjoyed a talk about the owls by Mr Charlett.
