Coffee chain Costa has applied to put tables and chairs outside its new cafe in Welch Way, Witney.
The company is asking West Oxfordshire District Council to allow change of use of part of the pavement. Costa wants to install two tables and four chairs outside the cafe – one table each side of the entrance. Costa, along with food retailer Morrisons, toy store The Entertainer and an as-yet-unnamed retailer are set to open in the new development.
