Sir – I completely disagree with the negative views of the proposed Blavatnik School of Government, expressed by Mr Paul Hornby in your letters column (April 18).
I believe the proposed building is, architecturally, a sensation and if the reality is close to the design, Oxford will have gained a structure which will be considered a monument worth working in and, moreover, worth seeing for years to come.
Fine buildings fit in anywhere.
