A MAN who punched his dog in the face has had his sentencing delayed.
Snowy Snow, pictured, of O’Hanlon House night shelter in Oxford, lost an appeal against convictions for animal cruelty and being drunk and disorderly in a public place on April 19.
The 65-year-old was seen hitting his black mastiff-dogo cross by a police officer in St Aldate’s in Oxford on April 27, 2012.
He was due to be sentenced in Oxford Crown Court yesterday at the same time as appealing another conviction for being drunk and disorderly.
The hearing will now take place on June 21. Snow is on bail.
