WITNEY: Young rockers enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime experience yesterday when a rock star came to town.
Duff McKagan, the former bass player with Guns N’ Roses, appeared at Fat Lil’s diner in Corn Street with his new band, Walking Papers.
The event was organised by the Witchwood School of Rock, which caters to budding musicians between the ages of six and 18.
Students took part in a Q&A session and some were even able to perform on stage with the band.
