ROBBERS attacked a security guard and stole the cash he was delivering to a bank in Oxford yesterday.
The two men stole a “significant” amount of money at about 3pm in Cowley Road.
It is believed one man pulled the guard to the ground near NatWest in Cowley Road.
They stole a container, with an unknown sum of cash, and fled on foot.
The victim was left with minor injuries to his hand. No weapons were used in the incident.
The two offenders are described as black, around 6ft tall. One man was wearing a luminous high-visibility jacket and the other was wearing black clothing.
Police are asking anyone who was in Cowley Road yesterday afternoon and witnessed the incident to come forward as a matter of urgency through the 24-hour Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
