THE funeral of a robbery suspect who died during an armed raid on a jeweller’s in Oxford’s Covered Market will take place on Friday.
Clint Townsend, 33, of Headington, stopped breathing after he was tackled by members of the public as he and an accomplice tried to smash a window at John Gowing Jewellers on March 31.
The funeral will take place at Holy Trinity Church in Headington, followed by burial at Wolvercote cemetery.
An investigation into the robbery is continuing.
