MAY I add my congratulations and thanks to the organisers of the Wheatley School reunion.
Although I was never very good or interested in school and could not get out of the place quickly enough (in fact I probably hated every day I was there).
It was nice to go back after all these years to meet and talk to people I had not seen or heard of since I left school in 1961, if only to remember my younger days when I was young and fit enough to do things that I cannot do now.
The one thing I did learn from school was that if you get into mischief, don’t get caught and to this day that is still true and I’m still misbehaving and rarely get caught.
Just ask some of our councillors.
