Community groups are being urged to bid for grants of up to £15,000 for projects such as new buildings or equipment.
Applications opened for South Oxfordshire District Council’s Community Investment Fund yesterday and groups have until June 28 to apply.
Last year’s scheme helped to fund refurbishing the tennis courts at Edmonds Park in Didcot, and installing a ventilation system at Wallingford Methodist Church.
The funding is only available for capital projects such as building work, repairs, new facilities or equipment and cannot be used for running costs.
Groups are also invited a pre-application workshop on June 5 which offers advice to those applying to the scheme.
