TRICIA Partlett spent eight years trying to get into the London Marathon.

But now that she’s completed it, in six hours and 20 minutes and raised more than £1,000 for charity, her marathon days may already be behind her.

She said: “The whole atmosphere, with people cheering, was just unbelievable. I have never seen anything like it before.

“I’m looking forward to not having to train tomorrow. I don’t think I will be running another marathon.”

The 41-year-old from Eynsham was running for Debra, which supports people and families affected by epidermolysis bullosa, a genetic condition which causes people’s skin to cut or blister more easily.
