  • Michael Smith, 19, of Exbourne Road, Abingdon, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of, or provoke, unlawful violence in Abingdon on February 22. Fined £130 and told to pay £50 compensation, £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Roger Heathfield, 51, of New Road, East Hagbourne, near Didcot, admitted drink driving in East Hagbourne on February 22. Had 40 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £200 and told to pay £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given 12-month driving ban.
  • Chelsea Appleton, 23, of Field Avenue, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, admitted racially or religiously aggravated harassment in Oxford on October 17. Given 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.
  • Lee Thompson, 40, of Wood Farm Road, Headington, Oxford, admitted stealing a bottle of wine worth £4.29 from Tesco in Cowley Road, Oxford, on February 23. Also admitted committing an offence while subject to a suspended sentence imposed on October 17. Given 18-month conditional discharge and told to pay £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.   • Susie Lanson-Corr, 38, of Kestrel Crescent, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, convicted of keeping a vehicle when it was registered as off-road in Kestrel Crescent on May 22. Fined £600 and told to pay vehicle excise back duty of £72.50 and £90 costs.
  • Victor Dobrinoiu, 36, of Lincoln Close, Bicester, convicted of keeping a vehicle which did not meet its insurance requirement on July 12. Fined £200 and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £15 and £110 costs.

  • Kera Gibson, 21, of Salesian House, Crescent Road, Cowley, Oxford, admitted assaulting PC Racheal Wood, in the execution of her duty, at Salesian House on December 26. Community order made with six-month drug rehabilitation requirement and supervision requirement. Told to pay £60 victims’ surcharge.
  • Karl Barrett, 26, of Redbridge Hollow Travellers Park, Old Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted making off without paying for petrol worth £53.63 in Western-On-The-Green on November 27. Also admitted using a heavy goods vehicle on the A34 without insurance on the same date. Fined £140 and told to pay £20 victims’ surcharge.
  • Joanna Brealey, 33, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing three boxes of perfume worth £111 from Boots in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on February 9. Also admitted a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge made on December 19. Fined £70 and told to pay £20 victims’ surcharge and £25 costs.
  • Abdul Banaras, 26, of Boundary Brook Road, Oxford, admitted breaching a restraining order on February 26 in Boundary Brook Road, Oxford. Community order made with four-week curfew requirement. Told to pay £60 victims’ surcharge.
  • David Trainor, 46, of Banbury Court, Vineyard, Abingdon, convicted of assault by beating in Abingdon on October 16. Given 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £15 victims’ surcharge and £250 costs.
  • Richard Markwell, 23, of Hurst Street, Cowley, Oxford, admitted stealing meat and bread worth £6.55 from Sainsbury’s in Banbury Road, Oxford, on February 1.
